The St John’s facilities are ideal for weddings, funerals, birthday celebrations, events and group gatherings. With the choice of a large hall and fully catered kitchen, to a smaller room equipped with a TV and kitchenette, get in touch to see if your dates are available!
St John’s Hall Facilities for hire
Main Hall
The main hall is ideal for large gatherings and includes the use of the large open kitchen with full facilities including an oven, fridge, food warmer & dishwasher/sterliser. It is a warm, enclosed area with wall heaters and windows. This can be hired for regular meetings or for celebrations and events at a reasonable rate to ensure those in our community have a place to meaningfully connect.
Please note that this room will have shared use of toilets and parking with the Hunter Lounge for hire. You are able to hire out the entire facility at extra cost.
Hartley Lounge
Our renovated lounge is proving to be a popular venue for many groups, with a kitchenette and it’s own bathroom, this makes it an easy place to host meetings & medium sized gatherings. It has it’s own outside entrance and a shared carpark, or alternatively you can park along Bassett Road and use the stairs or zig zag path up to the door.
Hunter Lounge
This small room is ideal for intimate meetings and small group gatherings. It includes the use of a kitchenette and shares toilets and parking with the main hall.
Ohariu Valley
Ohariu Valley
Holy Trinity Church is the oldest Anglican Church still regularly used for church services in the Wellington region. Join us, as we worship in this special heritage site, which is cherished by the Ohariu community as well as all who worship here.
This little church has basic facilities and is a fifteen minute drive from the St John’s Hall.
